The Maine House votes 80-60 against the resolution targeting the first secretary of state in history to block someone from running for president by invoking the Constitution’s insurrection clause.
‘Under Maine law, I have not only the authority but the obligation to act,’ Shenna Bellows avers. ‘I will follow the Constitution and the rule of law as directed by the courts.’
