Mayor Sides With Dobbs Over Spitzer Plan

When it comes to the question of issuing driver’s licenses in New York State to illegal immigrants Mayor Bloomberg said he sides with a persistent critic of the plan, a CNN news anchor, Lou Dobbs, over Governor Spitzer.
“Lou is an old friend of mine that I agree with very seldom, but nevertheless in this case Lou happens to be right,” Mr. Bloomberg said yesterday during an interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN’s Situation Room.
