LOVE STORIES The Riant Theater presents a meeting of its Book Club, featuring readings of two plays, Steven Shapiro’s “When the Cherry Blossoms Bloom,” about two joggers who fall in love in a park, and Tremane Hickman’s “Love – This Game Is Real,” about a tryst between a young couple. FANTASTIC THREE KGB Bar presents “Fantastic Fiction: Ira Sher, Justin Courter, and Brian Evenson,” a reading by contributors to the anthology “ParaSpheres: Extending Beyond the Spheres of Literary and Genre Fiction” (Omnidawn). The book is edited by Ken Keegan and Rusty Morrision, and celebrates the more literary authors in the pulp genre. HONORING GINSBERG As part of its monthly series “Sip Lit,” the Sip Bar and Lounge presents a reading by poet Honor Moore, who reads from Allen Ginsberg’s “Howl” in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the epic Beat Generation work.
