WATERCOLOR CITY Frederick Brosen’s exhibit “Still New York” features 18 watercolor paintings depicting scenes including the city’s most celebrated skyscrapers and its forgotten industrial corners. PILGRIM’S PROGRESS In the summer of 1999, Father Jerome Tupa made an artistic and spiritual pilgrimage to Rome from Milan. During his travels, he kept a journal and made hundreds of drawings, which inspired him to paint the bright oil and watercolor paintings that are now on display in the exhibit “The Road to Rome: A Modern Pilgrimage.” Through August, Wednesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., National Museum of Catholic Art and History, 443 E. 115th St., between First and Pleasant avenues, 212-828-5209, $5 suggested donation.
