TIN TYPES Oi Sawa’s oil paintings on tin are on display in “The Beginning of the Century.” The silvery geometric paintings were inspired by reflections on a stovepipe in the artist’s studio more than 10 years ago. She incorporated images of space and the universe, and influences from cubism into the finished paintings. The gallery is also showing oil paintings by Tazuko Fujii.
