ELEPHANT ADVENTURES Laurent de Brunhoff’s illustrations for his latest children’s book, “Babar’s World Tour” (Harry N. Abrams), are on display at Mary Ryan Gallery. In this installment of the regal elephant’s adventures, Babar and Celeste take their family on a trip around the world.They stop in Italy, Germany, Spain, Russia, India, Japan,Thailand, Egypt, and Antarctica. In their visit to Mr. de Brunhoff’s native France, they check out the Cathedral of Notre Dame and go to a fashion show.
