HELP FOR CANCER PATIENTS The nonprofit organization Cancer 101 presents a benefit luncheon, live auction, and afternoon of polo in Connecticut. Cancer 101, founded by breast cancer survivor Monica Knoll, provides newly diagnosed patients with support and tools in the early days of diagnosis. Sunday, noon-5 p.m., Conyers Farm, Greenwich, Conn., 646-638-2202, $250 general, free for children under 12.
