BLACK ART The Daniel Aubry Gallery presents an evening to celebrate the career of painter Purvis Young, including a screening of “Purvis of Overtown,” a documentary about the self-taught artist’s life-changing stint in jail, where he discovered the work of van Gogh and Rembrandt.
