ShareRICHMOND - A former Governor of Virginia, Mark Warner, a Democrat, announced today that he will run next year for the Senate seat held by a Republican who is retiring after 30 years in office, John Warner.
The men are not related.
The former governor ended speculation about his political future in an e-mail to supporters and media.
