nice review. i was fortunate to score a ticket for the friday night 1030pm show, a couple of days after you were there. i really enjoyed it. i've been a crusaders/joe sample follower since the mid 70's and it was the first time i had seen him live. the band was also very good ... gadd on drums was excellent. parker jr, felder and landgren were terrific. i was also impressed with nicklas sample ... the kid is goind to be very good, he fit right in. i'm glad my kids will have another "sample" to listen to as they grow up.
