I saw this show tonight and as a frequent theatergoer, I felt compelled to read several reviews of the show to assuage my fears of some psuedo-intellectual theater critic finding any redeemable value in PURITY as an artistic work of substance. I've read 5 reviews so far and I feel relieved to discover many well respected critics found PURITY as gratuitous and pointless as I did.

Also, I realize that the yucky feeling I can't shake after seeing PURITY is it's unadultered debasement of women!!
