Governor Spitzer Is Seeking To Block Ban on Foie Gras

Submitted by Paula von der Lancken, Jan 18, 2007 14:35

The short lives of these ducks and geese consist solely of torture three times a day, having a metal feeding tube rammed down their throats to force feed them so that their liver becomes diseased and overgrown. The end product is neither healthy, necessary, nor affordable. Who profits from allowing this other than Hudson Valley Foie Gras and La Belle Farm?
