I love hearing all these comments about beating the war drums, dopey ideas, bs, etc. There are too many "Armchair Generals" out there who have NEVER been in the military or remotely have any idea of how the military operates, so they are blind to the true reality of military operations covert or strategic and what the current threats are to the United States. Plain and simple - they do not understand military or intelligence OPSEC (Operational Security). There is a constant intelligence war going on every day in which the US is trying to analyze all aspects of any threat to the United States from the spy ring caught by the FBI stealing some of our most vital weapons secrets in Los Angeles, China's massive military buildup including current laser targeting of our satellites in space and their threat to use nuclear weapons against us. The threats are real whether it be China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and now some of the Latin American countries right in our backyard. We all need to get off this kick of blaming someone for making decisions right or wrong and understand that the threats to the United States are VERY real. This is for our national security; not addressing who is right or wrong - Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative, right wing or left wing. It doesn't matter who from those groups wants to take charge but they most do so with the United States in mind. We are not living in a movie world, because before too long we will have to deal with these situations whether anyone wants to beat the drums or not.
