'Millennium Bomber' Has Sentence Overturned

Ressam was improperly convicted for lying on his customs form. And, because he was improperly convicted the case is being returned to the lower court for re-sentencing. In a world where the threat of terrorism grows we find once again where our laws have turned on the people they are suppose to protect. The Millenium bomber should have been convicted for transporting 124 pounds of explosive with the intent to kill. End of story. That alone should have put him away for more than 22 years. Seven years later this criminal continues to get his day in court while the average American is left wondering how we can survive this legal insanity. I have to believe that Judge Rymer was only trying to demostrate her precise understanding of the law. And of course in her world of legal precision she only meant to fix what was clearly broken. My only question is why did the 9th Circuit find this case worth their valuable time and interest?
