I just saw the movie yesterday "We Are Marshall". I am 61 years of age and in all that time I have never seen a movie that caused me to write a comment untill now. In every day life, bad things happen to good people, and the only way for each and every one of us to move on, is to start again, if we don't, we get stuck. Having been is that place a few times in my life, it has taken me a while to realize that. In order for us to move on, there has to be that starting place, and the speech that coach Lengyel gave to his team before the game, to my understanding, stated just that. Winning may be the most important thing in any game or walk of life for that matter, but you have to start somewhere, and when you are starting over, you need to build, and learn, and that takes time. We make mistakes, and learn from them, we build as we go, time passes, we move on and than before we know it, winning does become the most important thing again. When that day finally does come, we realize that we can look back and smile instead of cry, and that's a good thing, but a thing we could never have done without that start, which coach Lengyel gave not only to the football team, but to the community. Great Movie!!!!
