As a Cuban American, nothing said comes as a surprise. Chavez was begotten by Castro and his praetorian guard is composed of Cubans. The same goes for the intelligence service. The army is full of embedded Cuban officers.Chavez pays for these 'services' by providing 100,000 barrels of oil a day practically free of charge. All of this is published information. It is no secret or rumor. Needless to say ,Ortega is also a child of the Castro regime. All of the above has been ignored by countless U.S. legislators tha have traveled to Cuba (as recently as last month 10 congressmen went to Cuba) ,and repeated the same mantra: lift the embargo in exchange for NOTHING.

Further, Mr Delahunt (one of the recent visitors to Cuba) et al also cater to Chavez by praising him and accepting reduced price oil for his constituents thus becoming complicit in an obvious propaganda ploy. We suffer incredibly from demagogic and worthless politicians that care not a whit for national security. You should address these facts. A nation cannot survive with these 'public servants'
