It appears to me that Carter told the truth, at least at it appeared to him. There has been so much propaganda in this area, that I think people have lost the ability to distinguish between it and truth. Certainly, some types of opinions are not tolerated. Carter has merely said what millions have been thinking, and those millions, frankly, don't care to take sides - we spectators are merely weary of the endless conflict.
