Commenting on Ms Leuzzi's article, I must say that her expertise lies only in French, Thai and Japanese Cuisine, though many great Italian, Greek, German, Eastern European (Serbian, Romanian and Ukranian) and South American (Peruvian, Colombian and Peruvian) have opened during the last year.

While I don't have an exact number or names of each kind, I can tell you about Greek Cuisine establishments that opened recently in Manhattan, such as Parea and the reopened Periyali on twentieth Street alone, not to mention those in the boroughs, such as the Ovelia on 30th Avenue (30th Street) which, your newspaper does not even consider in writing.

At times I have sent you suggestions of restaurants outside Manhattan (even Michelin has done many), yet your stance is apathy, concentrating on those who already have enough publicity, and even so, they bomb out and close in a few months.
