Why don't more people see that the public school system is a failure to our children? They always ask for more money to do a miserable job. We need to hold them accountable for the use of our tax dollars and the education that is provided to our children. If more people get involved in their children's education they might see that there is so much room for improvement without adding cost to the taxpayer. It would start with negotiations in teacher contracts and reducing pension payments.
