Like it or not, the same principles hold true for the United States. Though the specifics of the demographics themselves are rather more different than alike, the same cultural tug-of-war goes on in America, with many regions of the nation experiencing varying degrees of social disruption, due to the incredible flood of illegal immigration over the past 20 years. Leaders in the U. S. would do well to harken to your words--before a violently negative backlash arises.
