Not mentioned in the article was that Dick's son lost his life in the World Trade Center on Sept 11, 2001. That was a hard blow to Dick and his family. I had the pleasure of working with Dick's daughter at Bear Stearns in the 1990's, she was a great girl. Dick worked with my late brother and was loved by all the people on the trading floor at Discount Corporation. On Wall Street he was known as both lovable and fearless, a good tough as Terry Brennan from Notre Dame recalled. We will all miss him, may the Lord bless and keep him.
