Long Live the SATs

Unfortunately the analogy section has been deleted from the SAT, as Mr. Perez pointed out. However, as Charles Murray argued last summer in "Abolish the SAT" (The American, July/August 2007) we might be able to capture some of the lexical breadth of future examinees by emphasizing the content of the SAT subject tests (English literature, foreign languages, etc.) over the SAT's "Critical Reading" section.
