I am happy that there are still intelligent people around like Epstein. After all the murder theory is just crazy especially if we take into account for one that it is really not a reliable and easy poison and secondly that many more people (connected to Litivenko) but also people who happened to be around seem to have been infected although less seriously. The logic of a leaking polonium sample seems to be overwhelming. Somehow Litivenko takes the leaking sample in its hands (probably in the millenium hotel) afterwards takes some food and consumes this and gets the largest and most dangerous portion, than he touches objects that are handed over to other (like glasses and his credit card or even some money) the money spreads in the millenium hotel staff , people and some customers get also contaminated but far less seriously. It is a scary idea that the money still goes around although the polonium will get diluted over time (perhaps the cash of the millenium hotel is still a little contaminated).

Of course we can connect this theory with a murder scenario but than a scenario in which Litivenko is not a glancing hero for liberty and democracy but a vilain dealing in dark matters doing his business under protection of its host country the UK that did not have any idea to whom it gave its hospitality. In this scenario Litivenko might be lured by his former colleagues of FSB but it might also just have been plain stupidity of an adventurer in secret business. At least the scenario fits very well to a new novel of an author like Ludlum

The most worriyng in this scenario is why the polonium was transported to the UK!! Assuming that only a small portion leaked , where is the rest? Who was the client and what is he up to?? A dirty bomb or a real atomic bomb??
