Boston's Better Prepared For Future Than Yankees

Poor Yankee fans. Its quite funny how much you guys really do over-estimate your system. Just incase you guys didn't know, Baseball America and Baseball Prospectus are given the information straight from teams GM's and scouts. Most teams do not like to release all the information or the correct reading on prospects because it gives them less of an advantage in trades. An example of this is former Tiger CF Cameron Maybin. He was rated the #1 prospect by both sources, unfortunately, he has done nothing for the Marlins and is now in AA/AAA and if he's lucky will be in on the Florida roster because they decide to trade Hermida to save money. Clearly you fools no nothing if you actually believe the Yankees system is anywhere near good. For you Yankee fans so high on Mark Melancon, do you remember Andrew Miller or Brandon Morrow? Both good pitchers who rose quickly through the minors, only to struggle after doing well for a little while in the MLB. Morrow now looks as if he is going to be ok, but trust me, one year in the minors does not make you the next Joba Chamberlin. In all respect, Chamberlin is the one of best young pitchers in baseball, but unfortunately for him, he has a weak arm and is not very durable, which is the real reason you see him in the bullpen. In the next 3 years I am sure he will eventually be a starter, but don't be so high on him. Also, when it comes to Buchholz, his mechanics this year were terrible, and they have hired a personal team assistant to help him. Hughes and Kennedy are different stories. Kennedy is a accuracy pitcher, basically a poor-mans Greg Maddux, who will never be better than a bad # 3 or solid # 4. Hughes just got lit up this year because he is a thrower not a pitcher. He will be good, but he does not know how to pitch yet, and seeing him in the minors, it doesn't look like he will pan out for a while. Relating to the other Yankee prospects, most scouts think Austin Jackson will be a solid player, but will not be your Yankee OF perennial All-Star like you all hope. .280/.370, 25, 80 is probably his peak line in the MLB. In fact im pretty sure he was like a 62/80 or something as an overall this year on the scout system. Brett Gardner like Jackson will never be a star. Gardner may be a solid defensive CF but has average speed and will never have a strong bat. After that, guys like Betances and Marquez and Sanchez are most likely duds (donnie sadler anyone?) and Horne will never live up to his expectations because his 2nd and 3rd pitches are like 40's on the 20-80 scale. Its embarrassing that you Yankee fans defend your system, yet you really know nothing about it
