Bring Back the Venetian Lollipops

I live in the Columbus Circle area and always enjoyed the Venetian lollipops as you have called them. When construction on the building started I was personally excited that the usefulness functionality of the building were going to be addressed, and that the old facade itself would receive and over do face lift. Unfortunately like so many unthought out aesthetic choices it seem to me that they decided that a facial reconstruction would be best. They should have hired a better surgeon and maybe seen a therapist to decide if they had an addiction to plastic surgery. The new facade is as disappointing as a badly botched face lift. The one consolation is they could but wont restore it. Sad neighbor.
