After reading this article it is clear you are a Knicks fan who doesn't like to watch Jason Kidd and his genious play. I will agree with you that some players assist totals are tainted, like your very own Marbury when he used to average 8-9 assists per game, Iverson also falls into that category. But those players are chuckers. If you don't know what a chucker is, allow me to explain.

Chucker - noun - A basketball player who looks to shoot the ball everytime he touches it, and never passes up an open look, even if someone is open for a high percentage shot.

Example's of a chucker: Jamaal Crawford, Stephon Marbury, Steve Francis, Nate Robinson, Eddy Curry (his 209 assists in 296 games is real good!), and Allen Iverson.

You talk about how hard it is to get 10 rebounds in a game, and brag about the fact that David Lee can average 10 rebounds a game, and how hard it is to get 10 assists in a game, but getting 10 rebounds and 10 assists alone isn't impressive? If I had a player who can grab 10 rebounds and dish the ball 10 times with the court vision of Kidd, I would take him even if he never did score.

Throwing out averages to take cheap shots at Kidd... uncalled for, I thought you were supposed to be an unbiased writer? Obviously you aren't.

Going by your logic, if someone averages.... lets say 22 points - 2 rebounds - 2 assists per game that they are bad, because not only are they lacking in one stat (like Kidd does with points) but they cant rebound or pass. I mean I'm not going to tell you than Allan Houston was bad, but by your logic, go for it!

Jason Kidd could easily go Marbury style and chuck up shots, but we saw how that worked when the Nets had Marbury, what were they.... the worst team in the NBA. Than Kidd took the same roster to the finals... odd. Mr. Overrated was able to lead a team to the finals, TWICE. What now, is the NBA rigged.

I have an idea for your next article. You can mention one of the most underrated figures in all of sports, The Knicks are paying there players a total of 140 million dollars, which is 45 million more than the team who is paying the second most... the Mavericks. How does a team that spends so much on all those star players only make the playoffs 1 time in the past 5 years,and have the 9th worst record in the NBA right now.
