I wonder if any of these multi-millionaire fans of the paper will pony up a cash infusion to save this piece of unique NY? CBGB's closing (a lower cultural institution, to be sure, but still a NYC icon) was widely decried by rockstars, etc., yet no one stepped up and rescued it. Similarly, Mo Pitkins, a semi-alternative Lower East Side performance space closed up, when I'd think one or more of the newly gentrified neighbors could have funded it, been a benefactor of something wonderful, and never felt the pinch. Hmmm, maybe the ex-execs of Lehman could share some of their billion dollar bounty to help keep this toothsome journal ticking? Good luck Sun. You have shone brightly.
