What David Foster Wallace Left Behind

Thank you for validating the interests of his fans and admirers. I felt a similar amount of grief when Princess Diana passed away. However, the end of this brilliant man's life is hardly receiving the attention it deserves. The facts and circumstances leading up to this brutal ending should be shared as a matter of public interest. DFW's life and contributions to our culture are part of American history. How ironic that an author best known for his extraordinary level of detail dies in the most curious way and all media reports on it with crippling ambiguity. Respecting the privacy of his family is torturing his fans who adored him for his ability to let us into his mind and share his senses. We need closure too.
