I wish Mr. Rothschild and all Texans the best, but I think he paints too rosy a picture. Last I heard, 2,000 people had to be rescued - some by helicopter, 2 million were without power, and there was 20 billion (and counting) worth of property damage. Meanwhile, in an eerie reminder of Katrina, thousands are waiting in shelters, unsure of where their food and water will come from, let alone when they will be able to go home, if they still have one. This doesn't sound quite like "large steps in the right direction" to me.
