Woman, Son Found Dead In Union Square

Arlene Coffey was one of the great motion picture costumers of our time. Her sense of style made every costume she ever touched better than any designer could conceive. I had the pleasure of working with this fine lady on such films as Zelig, Broadway Danny Rose, Bullets Over Broadway, The Cotton Club, and as partners on See No Evil, Hear No Evil, with Richard Pryor. She simply charmed stars such as Richard Gere, and Michael Caine. Arlene Coffey was one of a kind. She had a wit quicker than Robin Williams and she would leave the crew howling with laughter. She will be deeply missed by her many associates and friends. To know Arlene Coffey was to love her. Mark Burchard
