Guggenheim Eyes Armstrong as Its Director

FYI: I don't believe it's correct to say that the Director of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation (the position currently held by Tom Krens) 'runs' the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. The GMB is owned and operated by the Basque government. The Guggenheim does most if not all of its programming, for which it is paid by the GMB. This is different from their relationship with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, and different again from the relationship with the galleries in Berlin, and from their joint venture with the Hermitage in Las Vegas.
