Jerusalem's Hip, Historic 'Hood'

Submitted by Michele Rosenberg, Sep 12, 2008 13:00

In Baltimore we have one of Mr. Safdie's architectural creations - The Village of Coldspring. Located in the city it borders on one of the city's gems - Cylburn Arboretum. I don't know if Safdie originally intended to have stores or other amenities located within this village. If I ever go to Jerusalem again I will be sure to visit his newest design. If Mr. Safdie reads this I would like his comments on his original plans for Coldspring.
