McCain-Palin Surging in the Polls

Submitted by Evelyn B, Sep 11, 2008 17:11

Finally, I feel free to speak my mind. Thank God for John McCain and Sarah Palin, true American heroes who will immediately restore the lost honor of our Presidency and who as Republicans know that we need to fight rather than back down from any challenge. As a proud American and Christian conservative who happens to be white, it relieves me so much to see the overwhelming positive response Ms. Palin has been receiving for her forthcoming views. As a proven maverick, Sarah Palin puts her family first and speaks from her faith, rather than ever listen to those around her. I am certain that McCain will teach her everything she needs to know about foreign policy over the coming weeks, and she will probably even teach him more. She is exactly the sort of outspoken maverick we need to continue the unrecognized work of President Bush and to stand beside Mr. McCain in the White House as his closest advisor. With no thanks to the minority of this country, we have won the war in Iraq and are winning the war on terror, and McCain-Palin will see to it that the minority with its constant racism card and crocodile tears does not run our country and its economy into the ground. Also, while I am not a racist, I am tired of hearing how the time for a black American president is here -- I do not believe that time will ever come if we are always to be called racists. It is a shame for Mr. Obama that he is only experienced as a community organizer in a black community, since this does not represent any of the the rest of us. Sarah Palin represents far more of us, though, and she showed that she has the executive skills and can make the hard decisions we need as mayor of Wasilla and governor of by far the biggest, largest state. I feel that only by supporting McCain, Palin and the Republican party can we honor our founding fathers and the sacrifices they once made for our land and our freedom. We always have and always will represent the majority in this country, and we should not be ashamed to support our own. This is not talking down to the rest of the country, but they will never be here for as long as we have been. The liberal left-wing media as we all know would have us sell out our country and vote for a man like Obama out of guilt for something that never happened, thinking that we truly are racists and that we will then vote for Obama simply to relieve our own guilt. Like millions of others, I am so proud that this will not happen now, and that white Americans finally have a clear choice, instead of having to feel guilty and vote for a black man. That is no vote at all. I am happy to hear that independent voters and even women are joining the Republican party today in embracing the values and heritage that once made this country the greatest ever. The world needs a strong United States, not another Africa, and not another Middle East. John McCain and Sarah Palin understand this and will never let our country fall into the hands of those who would turn us into a third world nation. Believe me, for the first time in many months, I am looking forward to the next 16 years. There will be plenty of time for us to get to know Sarah Palin after she is elected -- America, what are you waiting for?
