Comedian Franken Wins Primary in Minnesota U.S. Senate Race

The idea of Al Franken winning this election is perplexing. Mr. Franken speculated to himself several years ago that he would be a shoo-in and so he moved back to the state. He has no record of public service. His campaign ads are blatant mistruths. He has failed to convince the voters of Minnesota that he has any qualification for the office. His financial support comes from outside of the state. Senator Coleman has a record of service in Minnesota that goes back many years. Senator Coleman should win re-election in November.
