Defenders of Wildlife Launch Attack on Palin

Submitted by Lauren, Sep 9, 2008 20:17

So what is the problem here? Is it the fact that Palin is willing to protect the aboriginal hunting rights of her constituents? Is it the fact that she puts human live and human dignity and human rights above those of animals? Or is it just that Defenders of Wildlife have their cash cow under attack by someone who believes that wildlife management should benefit local people not harm them? Why is Defenders filming a wolf killing and doing nothing about it? That always seems weird to me, lets get up in the plane and make sure our cameraman gets a shot at a kill that isn't clean so we can attempt to freak out the public over a non issue. By the way send us cash. Why is DOW allowed into a New York media but the story seems to originate in New Mexico? DOW actually pretends to pay for wolf kills in NM but the truth is people are going out of business due to their non payment. This group is not to be trusted. They don't do what they say and they certainly have no clue that wildlife management in rural areas must be balanced especially if human needs are to be met along with wildlife needs. Those of you who are easily upset by the brutality of this video should watch a pack of wolves kill a baby calf or a baby elk. They don't kill they just chase and take bites until the poor animal dies. Sometimes they pull the fetus right out of a pregnant female while she runs, eat it then keep after her. Don't cry me a river for wolves, they are animals and very inefficient brutal predators. Wildlife management should not be "sporting" it should be efficient and consistent.
