The Silent Majority

Very little could be added to this long-overdue piece confronting the bilious vitriol that spews forth from the press in most "developed" countries these days--actually these decades. I would only offer that the greatest irony encompassed by modern "liberals" is that they are not liberal at all, but the increasingly poorly disguised totalitarians and oligarchs of the post-enlightenment centuries. They learned from Karl Marx, Lenin & Trotsky, Stalin & Mao, that blatant up-front totalitarianism does not work well, so they try to camouflage themselves with the cloak of "liberalism." In fact they are, in their goals, remarkably like what we see today as ancient tyrants, and, incredibly, they are succeeding in their aims. It is demonstrative of how much most people feel the need to be be governed tightly, with as little true freedom as possible; it removes the need to think for one's self, and the responsibility for failure.
