Race and sex isn't a barrier to run for the White House. Class shouldn't be a barrier as well! Some people have thrown around words as "redneck" and "white trash" at Palin. If the voters are okay with "redneck" and "white trash" in the White House, then they can for McCain. If the voters are ashamed of "redneck" and "white trash" in the White House, then they should not vote for McCain.
