The only thing "brilliant" about all this is the NY Sun's rationale in supporting a monumentally minor figure (in the Dan Quayle tradition) to what could be an extremely significant national leadership role. God help us if McCain is elected and drops dead--something which the Al Qaeda clerics would doubtless be cheering for!
