Concise and informative covering of the performance, Jay. Bravo! Genia's voice is really sweet and strong. She sang in Athens last autumn and I marveled her skill. She is also an approachable and polite person. Mr. Muti might be in a hurry with "Il Flauto Magico" and in a fury with "Otello" because this must be the situation inside him, trying to cover his worries: leaving the beautiful colours and scents of the Mediterranean Sea and the land of Puglia to go to humid Chicago, for example or something else that he is keeping for himself. Let us wish him the best for his public and private life. He will be successful as usual even if it takes some minor casualties!
