Professor Katz's op-ed appeared two days after I was verbally abused on a SEPTA train by daring to ask someone to lower her voice as she spoke on a cell phone using a headset. And SEPTA posts signs asking people to use their "inside" voices when talking on cell phones. Speak people; let's not take this anymore.
