Instead of being heartened, they better be careful about provoking the US. Now that it's crystal clear that the UN will go nowhere on sanctions on Iran (they were already held up by Russia and China and there's no way that the Russians are going to approve anything), it may be hammer time for the Iranians. I'd green light a missile strike on Iran by Israel and go ahead with providing strategic, logistical, and weapons support to them. It's time Russia and those against us know that actions have consequences. You invade an ally of ours and all your worthless allies are kaput.
