The Fed is run by ex bankers and is in fact owned by the banks I believe. Therefore the Fed will always protect banks to the future cost of the American Tax Payer. We will have to bail out the banks while the officers of said institutions get off scott free. They should all have to forfeit all their assets to the treasury.
