I couldn't agree more. The season is basically over and it's time to look to next year. They have to see what can be acquired through trades for pending FA Abreu, Giambi, and Rodriguez. Compensatory draft picks would be ok if there were players in the minors ready to take their places, but that's not the case. They need to get players who are much closer to being ready to step in and take over.
