It is always refreshing to read a balanced article. As someone who grew up pursuing Gregorian chant on his own, I had my own personal regrets at the reforms of the Church; however, now as a youth minister, I see their benefits. Although, it is interesting to note how many youths actually long for exposure to Latin, chant, and older traditions. I hold out hope for a strong revival of these traditions.
