Former Stock Trader Indicted for Stealing Money From Friends

He did not work since 2002. Did he leave his job on his own or was he fired? If he was fired, he evidently missed the lifestyle he was accustomed to. I would think if he was fired and didn't get another job in his field, the word got around to other firms why he was fired. Certainly, I am assuming all of this until further facts emerge, but it seems that greed showed its ugly head again. How could a wealthy financial adviser give someone else money to invest for him? I guess he inherited the money that made him wealthy, for he was too stupid to invest it himself, and why would you give money to an individual rather to a firm to invest? It almost seems everyone involved is getting what they deserve.
