What about Roger Clemens, Dwight Gooden, Nolan Ryan or Tom Seaver? Didn't they all start at young ages and have relatively injury-free careers? How many young starters remained healthy? How many starters in their prime break down? Maybe injuries come with the territory regardless of age.
