Olympics Expose a Rift in Manhattan's Chinatown

Submitted by Linda, Aug 1, 2008 11:15

I was very surprised at the lack of promotion by the Olympic committee and NBC in the Chinatown communities across New York (Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens). Understandably the community is divided but some marketing and promotion in these areas might have helped. Just because we all have different views of China then and now, we are after all, still Chinese. I'm a little disappointed on the promotion of the games, or lack thereof.
