I would really like to hear from an independent study on whether lifting the ban on offshore drilling would decrease the price we're seeing at the pumps. If it would, how much would it lower the price and how long would it take before we see that price reduction? I think those are two crucial questions that should be answered before we give these companies the go ahead. It would seem to make sense but I don't trust the Republicans. I hate not being able to trust these politicians with our best interests.
