What a wonderful gesture on the part of the NYPD. The people of New York can once again celebrate this historic parade. I hope that now Mr. John Mauk Hilliard, President of the Sons of the Revolution, will honor the NYPD by inviting Mayor Bloomberg and Commissioner Kelly to participate in the event in an honorary car as they parade down Broadway on November 22, 2008. I also hope that the parade will include a float modeled on the float that was created to honor Alexander Hamilton during the period after the Revolutionary War ended. Congratulations!
