Welcome Costco

Most resistance would evaporate if the 2,300 parking spaces were removed from the project. The abundant public transportation to/from the proposed site should be more than sufficient for the many New Yorkers who have no car but could use a "big box" store. Increasing store rents will do in small stores, not Costco, but we should not be encouraging anyone to drive in lower Manhattan.
